In 2004, we opened our first store, in the Alberta Arts District in Portland, Oregon. Our name was Wild Child PDX. Next, came our website. We sold only handmade and fair-trade baby clothes, bedding, diaper bags, and accessories. The store grew and so did we, literally. In 2007, our own little Punk Rock Baby was born.
Time for change! We went online full-time, with a new look, and a new name. We needed something different, new, fun. Our eldest daughter was playing with her imaginary friend, Jaminga.
Just the name we were searching for! Jaminga was born. Known around the world for our amazing products and service, Jaminga's eclectic collection of Punk Rock Baby gifts, made it to Baby Showers from the US, to AU, and hundreds of places in between.
Times move along. Children grow up. Markets change a lot. More access lead to oversaturation. We continued to sell baby gifts online. Then came a little thing called Covid. At first, things seemed to keep going. Then, one after the other of our talented designers had Covid hit their lives one way or another. Other opportunities arose, so we carefully packed up our amazing inventory for "later".
Later has arrived!
